LEW Lincoln is celebrating 10 years of service and becoming the cities leading independent electrical wholesaler.
Back in 2011, it was William and Kate’s wedding, we all had ‘Party Rock Anthem’ by LMFAO blasting out on our car radios, and everyone flocked to the cinemas to watch Transformers.
Originally located on Whisby Road in the South East of the city, the Lincoln team outgrew that site back in 2018. As a result of some strong growth, they moved to their current site on Sadler Road which doubled the size of the warehouse. This has allowed an increase in stock holding to improve customer service levels and facilitate continued growth. There’s now a much bigger car park for customers and more recently they bought a 2nd van in order to keep up with customer demand. The team has also expanded to 9 members of staff after a particularly busy 12 months!
Alastair Salmon has been Branch Manager since 2019, and Operations Manager Josh Johnson who was previously Branch Manager before Alastair, have seen the branch go from strength to strength over recent years.
“We’re really proud of how our branch has performed, and become the go-to electrical wholesaler in the Lincoln area. We had a record breaking year last year, and we’re keen to improve on that further throughout 2021 and beyond. The fact we had such a strong end to 2020 is testament to the whole Lincoln team, who have worked extremely hard especially with the pressures the industry faced during the pandemic.” Alastair Salmon, Branch Manager.
