It’s World Mental Health Day today! At LEW we want to show you what’s available should you ever need it. World Mental Health Day (10 Oct) is a day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. It’s also a day to let people know that it’s okay to ask for help, no matter what you’re going through.

The Electrical Industries Charity offers a wide range of support services. This is for those who service and have served within the electrical and energy sector. This includes mental health support and financial assistance.

The EIC also offers support for apprentices and retired members of the industry.

We realise that with growing fuel and energy prices at home, you may have concerns. We want to make sure that you are aware of what guidance the EIC can offer you.

They can also offer services such as debt advice management and bereavement counselling.

EIC tools

EIC have a calendar of speaker events which provide tools designed to help you.

EIC has also teamed up with Sleepstation to provide advice and guidance on getting a good night’s sleep.

Sleepstation combines psychological and sleep science to help people get a good night’s sleep. They help you pinpoint the causes of your sleep issues and advise you on the best solution to overcome it.

We also have a number of Mental Health First Aiders, who are able to provide support to staff members, however if you need to speak to them in confidence, you can do. They are armed with a strong directory of resources and would be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Your nearest branch can be found on our branch locator page.
