Phil’s story at LEW began two decades ago, shortly after our Doncaster branch first opened its doors. He was the familiar face behind the wheel, starting as a van driver. This initial role gave him an invaluable, ground-level understanding of our operations, our customers, and the logistics that keep LEW moving.

It wasn’t long, however, before Phil’s aptitude for understanding operations and connecting with people became evident. His natural progression saw him move into warehouse management, where he honed his organisational skills and gained deeper insights into inventory and efficiency. Within just three short years, his innate understanding of customer needs and the business led him to transition into a sales role, where he excelled at building relationships and driving growth.

His dedication and natural leadership qualities didn’t go unnoticed. Phil’s knack for inspiring teams and driving success saw him take the reins as Branch Manager, first in Doncaster, then later at our Grimsby branch. In these key leadership roles, he was instrumental in fostering strong teams, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of these locations.
