As we reported back in November,we are to open up a branch in Sunderland this year. We sat down with our LEW Sunderland Branch Manager Stewart Wright to run through his plans and what customers can expect from our second branch in the North East, joining our branch in Stockton.
Stewart is in the process of creating a top team to join him in delivering the LEW values and customer experience, and this includes some exciting offers to kick off with. We are in the process of finalising the exact open date, so we will keep you posted.
Here is what he had to say about what is coming up for the Sunderland trade and public:
What inspired you to join LEW?
I was inspired by the passion Scott Berry (Sales Director) and Ben Jones (Group Manager) when they spoke about LEW and the Core values that they follow. The business is all about the people, and providing the tools to help them succeed. This was also a unique opportunity to work with great people who offer support and encouragement in equal measure. This is not only within the LEW branch network, but across the supportive head office functions as well.
What can LEW offer the customers of Sunderland?
LEW can offer Sunderland the service and care of an independent family run business with the stock availability and costs of a national wholesaler. We firmly believe no customer is too small or too large. We will service and support everyone from ‘one-man banders’ to major contractors.
What excites you the most about opening LEW Sunderland?
I am excited to show what our company can offer and deliver a top class wholesale service that will support our customers’ requirements and deliver a great customer experience in Sunderland
and the northeast.
