We’re pleased to announce that LEW Gainsborough‘s Steve Jackson has hit 15 years service as of today!

Back in 2008 Barack Obama had just become the US president, and England started a new era under Fabio Capello after spectacularly not qualifying for Euro 2008. But less about the ‘Wally with the Brolly’ as he was known!
A bright-eyed Steve Jackson took his steps into LEW Gainsborough ready to become the stalwart of the branch he is today.

We sat down with Steve to run through his time with LEW and how he sees the future of the industry.

So Steve Jackson, how have you found the past 15 years with LEW?

SJ: The last 15 years have been fantastic and that’s down to the Branch Manager Lynne Anderson who has made me very welcome from day one; we have formed a formidable partnership together.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Electrical Wholesale?

SJ: If anyone asked me which wholesaler to work for, it would be LEW without question. This is due to the family feel and camaraderie between everyone.

What would you say is the biggest chance in the industry that you’ve seen in the past 15 years?

SJ: The biggest change over the years has been the increase in prices, which has given us as a company fresh challenges to contend with. Luckily we offer a industry leading customer experience which helps with this. Our new ERP system has made things much more streamlined for our customers!

Congratulations on a great 15 years Steve! What do you think about going for another 15?
