We now have Manrose PIV in stock at LEW!

PIV can provide a whole house solution to indoor air pollutants and make a home habitable again.

The Lo-Watt Pivotal Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) unit has been designed to prevent and treat condensation and mould quickly. It is perfect for refurbished properties thanks to it being easy to fit for installers and discreet for homeowners.

PIV is an energy-efficient method of diluting and replacing stale unhealthy air with clean drier air, by gently introducing filtered air into the home and increasing the circulation of air around the property.

Manrose Positive Input Ventilation (PIV)

Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is an effective retrofit system in dwellings from 1-5 bedrooms. Simply by gently introducing fresh tempered air into the property to increase the air pressure and circulation to alleviate condensation and mould. This system comes fully loaded with all parts required for a quick installation.

Here are our top 5 benefits of the Manrose PIV

  • Automatic energy efficient trickle & boost system
  • Heat recovery mode, once loft temperature exceeds 18 degrees, the PIV will automatically boost. Forcing warm air back into the house (fully adjustable between 18-35 degrees). If temperature exceeds 27-35 degrees then the system will switch off to prevent overheating the household.
  • Heater element is designed to be energy efficient by simply pulsing warmth into the passing air (fully adjustable from 5-20 degrees). Also, the heater element can be reattach onto the ceiling valve for maximum affect.
  • Radon Mode available.
  • 5 Year filters.

Background to PIV

PIV was developed in the 1970s to deal with condensation by providing continuous (and quiet) ventilation throughout a dwelling.

Easy installation of the Manrose PIV

The Lo-Watt Pivotal also provides solutions suitable for dwellings with loft spaces.

It is not always possible to find room for a new ventilation system in an already busy home.

This leads to installations being put into awkward spots where the residents will be most affected by the aesthetics or noise from a product.
