We just wanted to give you a quick update on a change on the Aico returns policy for faulty products. We know when you’re on site, the last thing you want to do is go back to your local LEW branch, when you have a million things you need to do!

We told you last year about the change of policy but we thought we would give you a refresher just incase you needed any more content around the Aico Returns Policy.

As you will be aware, Aico are the market leader when it comes to smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and we heavily stock many of their products in our LEW branches.

Here is a quick reminder of what do to do if you find a fault in an Aico product:

 

What to do if you find a fault onsite

If you are on site and experience a faulty Aico product, in the first instance you need to contact Aico’s Technical Department on 01691 664 100 to try and diagnose / resolve the issue. Aico’s Technical Department will be available to assist you in trying to troubleshoot and resolve the issue whilst you’re on site.

If the issue can not be resolved, Aico will provide you with a Technical Case Number. You will need to provide this number to return a product to us. We cannot replace or return an item to Aico on your behalf without this number.

Once we have this number, we will then speak to Aico who in turn will provide LEW with a Unique Returns Number, so we can arrange the return of the product to Aico.

Aico will not accept a return from any wholesaler for a faulty or damaged product without both the technical case number and the returns number.
