We are delighted to announce we have training at 6 of our LEW branches delivered by Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarm market leader Aico. You will get the unique opportunity to meet Aico representatives and have the chance to learn about their new products. This will give you a chance to ask any burning questions you may have.
This free, CPD accredited Expert Installer training will be delivered in groups in the mobile unit at a LEW branch. You will learn the latest Standards and Regulations as well as learning about the innovative technologies from Aico.
What does this entail?
The Expert Installer training scheme is FIA CPD accredited, allowing the installer to earn 1 hour of CPD time. Modules include:
- Core Module – 60 minutes CPD
- Siting
- Sensor Types
- Installation
- AudioLINK+
- Testing and Maintenance
- RadioLINK, RadioLINK+, SmartLINK
- Integration
- Standards and Regulations
- SmartLINK Gateway and Portal

Doncaster– 26th May
Lincoln– 7th November
Gainsborough– 16th June
Sheffield– 20th July
Grimsby– 27th July
Leeds– 22nd August
During your visit, you will get chance to try Aico products, with help on hand if needed. From house coding to data extraction, you can have a go!

Just in case you’re wondering how our staff will be able to help you, we’re also ensuring our branch staff are being trained in the units as well. This will add to the Customer Experience we offer at LEW! This will take place the morning before your session in the afternoon and is designed so our staff can assist you more effectively when serving you on our trade counters!
