It’s a new year, but we thought we’d give you some LEW Apprenticeship News for some January positivity!

As you will be aware, last year we welcomed our LEW Apprentice cohort into various LEW branches. They have
all hit the ground running, and have hit many targets they have been set.

We are pleased to announce that Keelan Lea at LEW Warrington, Tyler Cassell at LEW Barnsley, and Tom Greenhalgh at LEW Bury have passed their recent exams and have moved up to level 3 on their apprenticeship.

We look forward to seeing them continue to grow within LEW.

LEW launch the Apprentice sales programme

The Apprentice sales programme is a modular telesales course of training and coaching specifically for apprentices who are interested in a career in sales with LEW. The ultimate goal will be for our apprentices to become a Junior Sales Account Manager.

The following Apprentices have recently begun module 1 (Prospecting) with our Training and Development Manager and shown great potential with some outstanding results.
• Tyler Cassell at LEW Barnsley
• Keelan Lea at LEW Warrington
• Tom Greenhalgh at LEW Bury
• Max Howard at LEW Sheffield

You may remember Max Howard recently won the Highly Commended Award at the National Apprenticeship Awards!

More apprentices are to begin their sales journey in 2024 as we look to continue to grow our own culture, create career progression pathways and invest in our people.

Further information

For more information on our apprenticeships please keep an eye on our Facebook page. Our careers portal also has the current, most updated list of our vacancies.

LEW has long held a passion for developing our apprentices and this latest cohort is going from strength to strength. In some of our established branches, we have apprentices who have carved out an exciting career in electrical wholesale, becoming Sales Account Managers, Trade Counter Managers and Warehouse Managers in the process, within 5 years of joining!
